Design Matters 21 will be a hybrid conference (in-person & online).
We are aware of the changing and unpredictable Covid-19 restrictions, and because of this, we are taking Covid travel and assembly restrictions in consideration in our Refund Guarantee, which covers the in-person tickets.
The guarantee works as follows: if you purchase a ticket for the in-person event and aren’t able to attend due to travel or assembly restrictions , your ticket will be converted into a Live Stream ticket and you will get the money difference back (you will also have unlimited access to the videos of the talks). Personal change of plans or simple change of ticket preference do not allow you to convert your ticket to a Live Stream one. Please note that when your ticket is converted to a Live Stream you will not be able to attend any workshops (which are in-person only); you will be able to watch and access all the talks.
The tickets are covered by the guarantee up to two weeks before the event, that is until April 30, 2022. This means that after April 30, it will not be possible to get a partial refund. Note that you will still be able to watch online, even holding an in-person ticket.
If you can’t attend physically, you also have the option of handing over your ticket to someone else – instead of getting a partial refund. You can hand over your ticket to another person by either noticing us via email, or by doing it yourself through Ti.to, our ticket system.
What if a disaster happens on the day of the event?
We will always do our best to make the event happen. But if that was not possible due to a disaster or event that can be predicted up to two week before the event, we will postpone the event and find a new date, with no refund. If an unpredictable disaster occurred, it is considered a force majeure, and therefore the event will be suspended with no refund.
